Wood Floor Care

Owning wood flooring is easy! Modern coatings just need occasional vacuuming and damp mopping. Wood provides a cleaner surface than carpet and more warmth than tile with dirty grout lines. We'll provide a cleaning kit and floor glides for chairs and stools to get you started.

Wood expands and contracts with humidity. For solid, wide plank flooring, we recommend a whole house humidifier to mitigate the seasonal humidity changes of our dry climate. Otherwise, engineered wood flooring is a much more stable option. Refer to the helpful guide below.
